Clarke Starke & Diegel has been servicing Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding communities since 1972. We are a full-service firm offering a broad range of assurance, taxation and business advisory services. We presently have a strong professional staff complement of chartered accountants, senior and junior accounting technicians and students-in-accounts. Having a good-sized professional staff means we have a broad range of knowledge and experience in-house. This allows us to provide a complete range of services including advanced-level taxation and management consulting.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated staff with very low turnover; this ensures a continuity of service from year-to-year. In addition, our partners and staff work in teams to ensure that our clients needs are always taken care of.

Our Clients
We have a successful and dynamic client base that is continuing to grow. Our clients come from a cross-section of industries and services including, among others: construction, finance, high-tech, manufacturing and processing, professionals, property development, retail, services, trucking and many charities and not-for-profit organizations. A common denominator is that most are owner-managed businesses. They tend not have in-house financial consultants and rely on outside professionals to round out their management teams. We are proud to fulfill this vital role.
Our clients range in size from small businesses earning less than $100,000 up to large corporations with sales close to $100 million. Naturally, they encompass all sizes in-between.
We have numerous clients that have been with us for many, many years. As a result, we have assisted them through many stages of their corporate life cycle. Some began very small and have grown into large multi-company enterprises. Others have gone through family succession and are now being managed by the second generation. These different situations present unique challenges and we pride ourselves on being able to assist our clients to effectively manage the varied phases.
